Well this Saturday October 4 Randwick plays host to one of its biggest group one races, the 2008 Epsom handicap raced over 1600m (1 mile). This year’s Epsom is shaping up as a wide open affair, with the favourite being the Anthony Cumings trained Raheeb ($4), who last start took out the Newcastle Cameron Handicap, by romping home over the much fancied Ashikaga.

Now that is a pretty strong form line and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Raheeb improve further and take out the Epsom Handicap, After all, Cumming’s is aiming the horse at the Cox Plate.

However:
Like I said this Epsom Handicap is wide open (in my opinion), and I do love a roughie in the Springtime!! Now put these 3 horses in your Epsom Handicap Multiples; Bank Robber ($11), Theseo ($12) and Hard to catch ($51).

Am I off the mark here? Hmmm probably! If you’ve got a tip, please leave your comment below, I’ll be sure to reply.
