One of the great WFA staying races on the Brisbane racing calendar, the 2009 Doomben Cup is nearly upon us. The Doomben Cup is raced over 2020m, and is one of the featured group one races, at the Doomben Racecourse during May.
Personally I don’t think that this years 2009 Doomben Cup has an overly strong field; well, not for a genuine group one race anyway. At this early stage i really see the race being won by one of the seasoned southern raiders like Racing To Win, Triple Honour or Douro Valley.
