Raced over 1600m at the Eagle Farm Racetrack the 2009 TJ Smith Plate for 2 year olds is going to be a great race. I’m always very weary of betting on 2 yr old races, and a group one 1600m race for 2 yr olds, even more so. I’ve long questioned the validity of the TJ Smith Plate being a group one race, and to think one of this lot will claim that along with the $320,000 in winning prizemoney is a little staggering.
