Winter Stakes 2009

The 2009 Winter Stakes is the last race of the Brisbane Winter Carnival. Raced over 1400m at Eagle Farm, the Winter Stakes is a weight-for-age group one race for fillies and mares, worth a total $500,000.

The Winter Stakes 2009 brings together highly rated runners Ortensia and Absolute Glam, who are both backing up up after solid races in this years 2009 Stradbroke Handicap (click to view video replay).
