The Coolmore Classic is a group 1 race for the fillies & mares over 1500m, the same day as the Ranvet Stakes, at Rosehill during Sydney’s Autumn Carnival. The Coolmore doesn’t seem to attract a lot of the hype and publicity that comes with some of the other Group Ones races at this time, but it’s always an exciting and fast run race. Won in recent years by the likes of Sunline, Tuesday Joy & Typhoon Tracy, the Coolmore Classic is one of only two group 1 races for fillies and mares during the Autumn Carnival.
