The Goodwood Handicap is one of South Australia’s great sprint races for open company horses. The Goodwood Takes place at Morphettville on the same day as the prestigious (from a breeding perspective) SA Derby, and is the highlight of the Autumn racing carnival in Adelaide. There is talk of the hulking Hay List making his way west for the race this year, which should should spice up the betting markets for those who fancy another runner.
