Although still a fair way off, The 2009 Melbourne Cup is shaping up to be a great race, with a number of outstanding chances. There will no doubt be a number of international horses who will be attempting to steal the silverware, but i think the local stayers like Zipping, and the 2008 Melbourne Cup winner Viewed, will be super competitive. As always the Melbourne Cup 2009 will be raced on the first Tuesday (3rd) of November, and will be held at Melbourne’s premier racetrack Flemington


Surprised to see Viewed, Zipping and Efficient all such long odds so early!
Cest La Guerre and Profound Beatuy the early favourites… didn’t thin we would see that!
Willl be interesting to see which of the 4 year olds run… if any.
