The 2012 Queen Elizabeth Stakes is the final WFA staying race of the Autumn Carnival. A group 1 event over 2000m, the AJC Queen Elizabeth Stakes is held on the same day as the Sydney Cup, Champagne & All Aged Stakes. The race often sees a mix of interesting formlines, with runners from the Ranvet Stakes as well as 3 year olds coming out of the Guineas or Derby.
