The Robert Sangster Stakes is a Group One 1200m, WFA race for fillies & mares at Morphettville (Adelaide) in March. The Sangster takes place on the same day as the Australasian Oaks, making it the highlight of the Autumn Carnival in South Australia. The race still somewhat struggles to attract the nations best sprinters, due to the fact that the William Reid Stakes takes place at Moonee Valley in Melbourne on the same weekend.
