The Rosehill Guineas is a set weights 2000 metre race for 3 year olds, that takes place at Rosehill during the Autumn Carnival. For most of the Rosehill Guineas field, it’s the first time they are tackling a high pressure staying test; and many trainers use the race as a limus test for the prestigious Group 1, the Australian Derby over 2400m two weeks later.
