Vain and Quezette Stakes on Saturday

The two Group 3 feature races for three year olds this Saturday at Calfield, are the Vain Stakes (colts) and Quezette Stakes (fillies) which are both over 1100m.

Each race is set weights and penalties, ranging from 55kg-57kg, and are worth $150k in prizemoney, with a further $10k available for Super Vopbis qualified horses.

Whilst many will have their eyes firmly on a Golden Rose campaign, many will no doubt be trying to grab a share of the prizemoney in a bid to ensure they qualify for the big one in a months time.

With Capitalist confirmed for the San Domenico Stakes, Team Snowden avoiding a potential clash by sending stablemate, the undefeated colt Russian Revolution, to compete in the Vain Stakes.
