Geelong Races

The Geelong Racetrack is one of the oldest racing clubs in Victoria, formed in 1865 and settling at its current address for more than 100 years. One of the countries premier country racetracks, the Geelong Races are best known for the Geelong Cup Carnival in October every year.

The carnival features the Geelong Cup (2400m), which has in recent years proved to be a good form guide to the Melbourne Cup raced at Flemington each Spring Carnival.
